what chip to get

im sure there are a bunch of these, but im to lazy to look right now. But im wondering what people think about a chip for my 7.3 im looking for one that has good fuel econmy setting and then every now and again im going to need one setting that is at least 100 HP. I was trying to decide between TS performance, DP tuner, and Bully Dog. (I heard TS does a number on your tranny though)?

Any custom tuner is better than ts or bully dog. I would go with php,dp tuner, tony wild man or gear head.

I have a TW chip and I love it. I cant comment on any of the others, but I know Tony gives one of the best curves for overall power. I like how crisp and quick my shifts are and the throttle response is great too. I also like that he offers free reburns too lol. But if you go with any custom tuner you cant go wrong. Its really a choice of what you want your chip for, and how much your budget is.

I have the HYDRA chip from Power Hungry peformance (PHP). I have no complaints what so ever. My truck is in the "highly modified" category so I pay $25 for my custom tunes but burn them myself thanks to the HYDRA software included with the chip. Stock or lightly modified can pick from their pool of included tunes. 16 slots i have and I can get tunes from others and put on the chip. I can have PHP tunes and say Wildman tunes on my chip. That was the deciding factors for me. To have the ability to try others tunes easily and to not have to send in my chip for a reburn.
Like others have said. You can't really go wrong with whomever you choose. Call them up and see who gives you that "warm and fuzzy feeling" Go with them.

I just ordered the PHP Phoenix for my truck. I did LOTS of research and think it is the best especially for the money.

+1 on DP. Me and some friends have them and all love them. One time my brother messed up his chip (his fault) and couldn't get his truck to start. Emailed DP ON A HOLIDAY and within 5 minutes dp called him and told him exactly what to do to fix it. had the truck running within a minute on the phone. That sold me.

So if i understand right the ts chip from ts is no good?? Bad on tranny? If so does anyone know if i can have it custom burnt?

X 2 on DP Tuner... had one of the F5's for 5+ years... great tunes... great customer service...
