was it only when turning - or should i say has this only happened when turning - the last thump i dealt with was my carrier bearing going out - it blew out - check for play in your driveshaft

The thunk I was hearing and feeling in my floorboard was my sway bar end links, replaced them and the thunk went away

I as well have that exact problem as well. Only when I turn. How much did those sway bar links cost

Hmm, it's in the front. I also have loose turning as the OP said. What can I do to fix that? The truck I have is 12" lift on 44's.

You may have to go thru the lift manufacturer to get the end links
