Turbo swap?
Will a turbo from a 1999 with out a waste gate (which I believe means its and early 99') fit onto a 1996 Powerstroke? Does the 99' have anything different than the 96' turbo... besides the turbo wheel?

the wheels are the same for all years but the turbos are different

Mine is a early 99 and it has a waste gate.As long as it the same mount as your 96 it should work.
