buzzing sound from flasher

I have an 02 7.3 psd yesterday it started making a buzzing sound from the flasher. kind of a on and off buzz. I bought a new flasher and that did not help it is almost like someone is turning a switch on and off. The realy weird part is that if I step on the brake pedal it stops or if I use the turn signal it stops.. help if you can

2002 f-250 4x4 ext. cab 7.3 psd,banks 4 inch monster exhaust,auto meter gauges, TS 4 bank 6 pos. chip.

multifunction (turn signal) switch is bad.....ill 95% garantee it!!!

yep i'll have to agree both me and my dads superdutys have had the same problem!

Yes, its the actual turn signal switch on the column. Virtualy every exterior light controll is run through it.....

I bought one today and put it in and it seems to have done the trick. thanks for the advice
