? about flushing tranny

well next week my valve body should be here and was just wondering how hard it is to put these in, and to flush the trans. ive read how to do it a bunch of times but it always seems harder when your actually doing it. If anybody can give me some input that would be awesome. Do i have to wory about any check balls falling down and what not or any other wierd stuff that im not gonna know how to put back. There is a guy who is a frind of a friend that is a diesel tech at a dealership and he said he would do i on teh side for about 200 bucks. Im supplying the fluid, filter and obviously the valve body. I thought that sounded a little steep. sny help would be great. Thanks in advance guys.
