Funny noise coming out of my exhaust???

So I finally got pretty much all my mods on that are in my signature... A few days ago I put on the 4" MBRP straight pipe exhaust. The first day it sounded awsome, but then the second day it sounds like there is a miss in my engine when you stand by the tail pipe. The engine sounds and runs great with the hood open, the sound is only coming from the exhaust. I thought I might have had an exhaust leak so I took it to the exhaust shop to have it looked at thinking I might have something wrong with the instal. They told me nothing is wrong with the exhaust. Took it to a ford specialist and he said its not missing and it runs great, he cant find any problems either. He told me that if im building more boost than I am using that it will dump it in the exhaust and sometimes sound like that... Thinking about taking the boost fooler off to see if that cures the mystery sound.

What the heck, why the change in sound? Could something be wrong, or am I just out of my mind? Any suggestions are appriciated.

Thanks, AirborneJohn

You are just getting use to the new exhaust. Hearing things you never heard before, etc... If the truck is running ok don't worry and drive it!!!
