Do '03 7.3's have any more emissions crap than '99 to '02 ?

Probably another stupid question but, did the '03 7.3's have any extra emission stuff as compared to a 1999 - 2002? I think the '03 6.0's have more crap on them and wondered if the '03 7.3 did also.

I am kinda looking for a '02 or '03 7.3. My truck is good and I am going to gradually keep working on it, but if I find a real nice '02/'03, I might trade. I know the '03 7.3's are hard to find.

Nope, they all, hit and miss, have cats and thats it. The nice thing is there are none with "catilist required" stickers on them. You can remove it and no one will be the wiser.

I read somewhere there were no cats till '02, but then I read that in a forum, I know my '01 doesnt have one.

My 99 did... my 01 didnt, my wifes X did... Its hit and miss.

my '99 E-350 DRW box van does, my '00 F-350 SD does not have a cat... (or a muffler, now!)

I have a 2003 F-250 w/ 7.3. It took me about 8 months of hard looking to find it. The truck is bone stock w/ no cat.
