edge service engine light
New to site and not sure where to post this, but, I just installed an edge juice with attitude in my 01 powerstroke and my service engine soon light comes on when I am accelerating at freeway speeds. I have it set on the third setting and my boost alert at 23.5 and my egt at 1280. Anyone have a clue why this light keeps popping on.

prob your Fuel pump not being able to keep up with the demand... its normal....

the code is probably a p1211 code which is normal when a chip is installed , what happens is the high pressure oil system is havin trouble keeping up with the demand the injectors need , so the oil aerates inside the oil rail and causes the code and the check engine light to come , no cheap fix for this concern and is really nothing to worry about , it will go off after normal driving

Scufft has it right. I bet dollars you are getting the 1211 code, which as said is normal. Have the codes read and post back. BTW, the generic code readers from places like AZ won't read our codes. If you are close to me I will read them for you.

It would be a 1211 code or a overboost code. Anything over 20-22#'s and your truck will set a SES light and defuel. You need an overboost regulator from ITP to fix that.
