Muffler delete pipe
Anyone found any muffler delete flex (read diy- no welding) pipe recently? I have searched the forum and the web but everyone says napa. Checked at 2 local napa stores and oreilly's, no luck... It looks like it needs to be 3.5" i.d. X 30-32" long...

That flex pipe will rust out in less than 6 months. I had the exhaust on my beater Cavalier held together by it... coming from experience here. Just go to a muffler shop and pay them the $20-40 to straight pipe it.

if you are doing a factory muffler delete riffraff sells a factory muffler delete pipe. its 60 bucks.
from the looks of it you just cut the muffler off and clamp it on. |

I'll concur. thought I would try to go cheap. got lucky and napa had three feet of 3.5inch id flex sitting there. $42 later ,add $12 for two u clamps and my impatience saved me $15 after shipping maybe. but I got what I wanted. cheap

You can also get a Walker muffler # 21470 at Summit for under $50. You will need to weld or clamp the connections anyway. This muffler gives you a through design (you can see one end to the other) with less sound when under power. I have this and highly recommend it.
