Error Code P0603?

My 99 came up with code P0603 , which I looked up and found that it was the "Internal control module KAM error". Please give me some information on what this is. Is this a part that plugs into the fuse box? Could this be why my 4x4 is not working? I checked the fuse and its good. When I turn the auto switch, nothing happens.

I changed out the acuator to the t/c and that did not fix it. I was having some fuse problems prior to this. What happened was the guy who had the truck before me added a jumper wire from the fuse box. When I pulled out the jumper, the connection was loose and I was having problems. Thanks in advance for the help!

i have the p0603 code to and i was told that when the truck is off the computer is not senseing power to keep the back up memory goin or something. but i was also told that its normal if u have a programmer or a chip or anything along those lines. i have had my P0603 code sense i got the truck and hasent affected anything.

for ur lose fuse connection i had the same problem. i pulled all my fuses out and pulled the top cover off of the fuse box and took alittle pick tool and bent the little tabs that hold the fuses in, in alittle more so the fuses fit tight in the little slots.(my truck would die when i hit bumps and the pcm/injector module etc.. fuse was lose in the socket)

I have a 2000 7.3 and the code p0603 comes up, the KAM error code. I deprogrammed my superchip programmer and disconnected the batteries. The truck will start up for about 10 seconds. I actually drove it about a 1/4 mile and then it shut down again. Should I reprogram my Superchip?? And was I suppposed to clear the code afterwards??
