You will have to hook up your boost gauge BEFORE the map fooler. After the fooler it will read a false reading. If your boost gauge is in a "T" fitting, install the fitting between the map fooler and the manifold and you will get the true reading.

Well since it's reading the "fooled" version the computer is giving the EVO2 your going to have to go with a mechanical boost gauge.
Personally I don't like the digital gauges, I feel they are not as accurate anyway. |

I can't see how it is going to make your gauge read correct. The basis of the MAP FOOLER is to fool the computer into thinking it's getting lower than actual boost as to not defuel your engine, right? That being the case, your EVO 2 is reading the false readings from the computer AFTER the MAP FOOLER fools the MAP sensor, the MAP sensor sends the false data to the computer, and the computer sends it to your digital gauge. I don't see a way around it. |

Ask SEA 71 - he has the commander and it reads the boost #'s from the map sensor - which goes to about 19 IIRC. He also has a mechanical boost gauge mounted on the column that reads the actual boost from before the map sensor.
