Oil all over my IC Boots

I noticed this weekend that my boots that connect the pipes to the intercooler are covered in oil and crap. The passenger side is really oily and the drivers side seems to be more dirt stuck to the oil. Also the AC line on the passenger side near the boot seems to be oily too.

Is this normal?

From the factory, your crankcase fumes are vented into the intake side of the turbo. So they circulate through the intercooler system. You need to perform the CCV mod. This mod routes the fumes to the atmosphere.I believe there is a link to that mod on this very helpful webpage.
