Child restraint points?
Have a 2004 Brazil built RH Drive F 250 7.3 Intercooled T diesel with 4 doors.
Anyone know where the child restraint fitting point/s are in the back seat? I don't have the right manual for mine - its a F 350 manual the dealership threw in the console - because the original was missing I am guessing. The F 350 Manual says there are no approved child restraint fittings fitted and that you have to take the vehicle to an approved child restraint fitting center to get the restraint fitted. Some of the online versions of the f 250 manual say there are approved restraint anchor points fitted. I've folded the back seat forward but couldn't see any obvious anchor points, however I don't actually know where to look for them - like on the rear cabin wall or on the floor of the cab behind the seat where the jack etc are secured? Have to take a trip next weekend with our new grandson in is baby capsule, and will need to instal the capsule on Sat Morning. If there are captured nuts located somewhere to use that would be good. The lap belt in the center of the back seat holds the capsule but the harness strap that goes over the back of the seat needs to attach to something. Just wondering if anyone else has figured this out (or got photos of the anchor point location?). Thanks very much in advance guys. Don't want to get this wrong and put the little guy unnecessarily at risk. Cheers |
