I know its been done, and i know its been asked.
2002 SRW 5.4 triton 4x4 automatic how hard would it be to drop in 1999 7.3 motor. Will tran match up? or will i have to bring the brand new 6 speed that is with this 7.3.

You would need a new trans and the electronics from the diesel truck.
