2003 F350. been converted to DRW.
214k miles on it, ZF6 tranny. was an old electrical contractor truck. maintenance seems up kept, as all oil change and air filter change dates are written on the air box cover, and both were changed recently. runs well, and tranny shifts great.
the bad: blower motor does not work. initial inspection proved it was unplugged under the hood. plugged back in, worked briefly then stopped, leaves me to assume it was unplugged for a reason. had to download a manual to see what fuse it was, have not checked yet. possible short or bad blower motor maybe.
drivers door lock does not work outside or by power locks, but can manually lock/unlock from the inside.
dash lights are out Easy to replace? i know some dash lights suck, others are simple, never been into a ford cluster before so i have no idea.
flat bed makes putting fuel in SUCK. will be changing filler neck location in the near future.
real questions, probably ones you are tired of answering.
right now it is bone stock other than no cat/muffler through what i think is stock piping (3 1/2") is 4" exhaust worth it?
plan on exhaust and a possible tuner with gauges of course and that is it. truck is sentenced to Tow Duty primarily but will be driven periodically just to keep fresh fuel in it and everything all loosened up. seems most on here suggest the TS 6 position chip with custom tunes, so that is most likely what i will end up with.
