first dyno run... not too impressed with HP

So yesterday I took my truck down to a local emissions place to see if they could run it just to see the numbers my truck was producing. I ran it on the 50 hp setting on my chip and i was impressed with the torque it was putting out, but not the horsepower. So today i took it back and ran it again with the hundred horse setting and the numbers still weren't impressive.. (I would have ran it in the insanity setting but I need bigger oil for it). Here's the numbers:

320 HP
1155 TQ

Does that sound right for my type of set-up? I was impressed with my torque numbers, but surprised with the amount of horsepower it has.. I would think I'd be pushing more horsepower than that.

Trust me, I couldn't understand it myself!! I can't see it having that big of a gap. All i can imagine is that maybe it's because it's an older dyno... shop has been around for a long time...

your right Granny, your numbers are impressive, and granted yours is a 6.0 and probably producing more power than mine, but our set-ups are pretty similar... I would think i would be not too far off from your numbers your putting out...

I think maybe it's time to find another dyno in town... I know there are two or three of them that do diesel's..
