first dyno run... not too impressed with HP
So yesterday I took my truck down to a local emissions place to see if they could run it just to see the numbers my truck was producing. I ran it on the 50 hp setting on my chip and i was impressed with the torque it was putting out, but not the horsepower. So today i took it back and ran it again with the hundred horse setting and the numbers still weren't impressive.. (I would have ran it in the insanity setting but I need bigger oil for it). Here's the numbers:
320 HP 1155 TQ Does that sound right for my type of set-up? I was impressed with my torque numbers, but surprised with the amount of horsepower it has.. I would think I'd be pushing more horsepower than that.

At the Southern Smoke Show in NC (SSS) we had a dyno there that was giving INSANE high tq numbers and hp number that were off about 5-50. That's all
Your torque is waaay off and the hp sounds to be about 20 off... the 7.3 guys will jump in. MARTY, where you at? help me out here bro |

Trust me, I couldn't understand it myself!! I can't see it having that big of a gap. All i can imagine is that maybe it's because it's an older dyno... shop has been around for a long time...
