5/100 Warranty(what exactly does it cover?)
I'm looking into getting a 2005 F250 which has the factory bumper-to-bumper warranty expiring real soon. It should have the 5year/100K mile warranty still, but what I haven't been able to figure out yet is, what exactly that 5/100 warranty covers???Is it a powertrain warranty (including tranny, axles, hubs) or does it ONLY cover the 6.0 itself and nothing else?
If there is a list of what is and what isn't covered, anyone have a scan of it from their paperwork or the details typed up? (oops, noticed I posted this in the 7.3 forum instead of the 6.0 forum. If a mod sees this, can you move it to the 6.0 forum?) Thanks Bruce Last edited by bas157; 01-04-2008 at 08:40 AM. Reason: posted in wrong forum |

It covers things like anything inside the motor, the turbo, CAC systems, H20 pump, egr cooler, glow plug systems, etc, etc... it doesnt cover powersteering pumps.....any pulleys on the front of the motor, radiator, trans, etc, etc..... basically it covers the motor and any componant that the motor uses to make it fire...... |
