Is s my EBP sensor/tube

I was cruisin today about 60mph in my 80 econo setting and truck seemed a little sluggish and egt's were running kinda hot, would go up to 800 then back down to 600 or so and kinda back and forth. Is this a sign that my ebp sensor and that tube going south on me and my valve is sticking? It just didnt seem to have the oomph it did in the days prior. When i had it scaneed a few weeks ago i guess the code for this came up so im guessing im s.o.l. and need a new one or clean this one. I couldnt really hear any hissing at highway speeds, partially because of traffic and other noise. Any help is greatly appreciated. thanks

you can just clean it i belive pretty sure i even saw a thread on here about it sometime ago

yea i read that too, but i found the sensor brand new on ebay for 20 bucks so i figured what the heck. i might just buy that tube too just to have a spare or just put new parts on it. Is what i described above symptoms of a failing ebpv sensor?
