gtp 38 rebuild kit?

i have a turbo off a 02 f250 7.3l. where is a good place to buy a rebuild kit for it

It is said by many that for the most part a BB Turbo more often than not, can't be rebuilt. If it can be rebuilt, the cost is said to be almost as much as a New Turbo,(sometimes).
Your Stock Turbo is made by Garrett but it is NOT the GTP38R. The GTP38R is Garrett's Ball Bearing Turbo High Perf Replacement for the Stock Garrett Unit. The GTP38R has a 88mm compressor wheel as opposed to the 80mm OEM Wheel, and is said to flow 33% more air than the OEM (non-ball bearing)Garrett Turbo.
Your OEM Turbo should be under Factory Warr until 100K Miles, Why do you think you have a GTP38R ? and how many miles are on your Truck ? And what is your turbo doing ? that makes you think it's in need of rebuilding ?

i never said it was a gtp38r??? i said gtp 38

the turbo is on my 87 mustang... unknown milage on the turbo.. it needs to be rebuilt becasue it is smoking out of the exhast side (pushing oil past the seal) i found a rebuild kit for 80$. the rebuild is done and all is well now.

due to the turbo being from garrett but only sold to ford it is hard to find parts. garrett doesnt list that turbo on its site and ford stated they only sell whole trubos no parts for them
