Tires
I've checked many web sites and local stores for the best prices on tires. I'm looking to put 235-85r16/E on my truck (stock sized) highway tread. What's the general consensus for best deals? I'm finding off brands for around $115 each, but am looking for a brand named tire, such as NITTO, YOKOHAMA, GOODYEAR, BFG, etc.
Sams has this size, and 265's for under $90 each but the tires are made in China. I can just picture the tread comming off of these while pulling my trailer, or the cords separating, or the tires causing a bad pull. |

I've used firestone/BF prior the the ones I have now. I do alot of towing and highway driving. I got the ones now for $85ea they're Merit...I think, made by hercules tire, everyone at work uses them, and they are on the co. trucks also. They are the All Country LXT. I have about 25-28k on them and they have about 60%, thats with a heavy foot and smoking the back ones a....few....times. I would have went with BF but I didn't have the $ for 4 @ 140 so I went with these b/c of the tread and I like em as much as the BF.
