T.S Programmer

Hey guys, I forgot my password to my other account so I made this one to keep.

I am picking up a F350 7.3L this weekend and he said it has a T.S 6 Position Programmer in there.

Could anyone give me some advice on this programmer? As in, how good it is, what are the levels and horse power per level, etc.

It will have a 12" lift on 46" tires. What would be the best level to leave it on for mileage.

Can't help you out on the tires, never had any that tall. On the TS-6 thou, it depends on the original programing. I have one in my truck and LOVE THE MESS outa it. Mine is 1. stock, (which you have to have in that position) 2. high idle, 3. 50 hp, 4. 75 hp, 5. 100 hp, and 6. 140 hp. As far as I'm concerned it's the best one out there. I researched for a couple of months and decided on it.

Now, I don't know if you have Auto or Stick. I have a stick and it's been no trouble at all except letting someone drive my truck which I DO NOT DO anymore. Dumbazz's like me letting dumbazz's drive a chipped truck is STUPID. Anyhow, I wish you well with your truck. These are awesome trucks, and I have an 01 and to me the 7.3 IS THE ONLY WAY TO GO. I meant to mention that it can be hard on an Automatic if the Auto hasn't had upgrades or has high mileage on it. Some will agree with me, and most will. My food for thought after owning a 7.3 Excursion was, get a truck with a stick and save myself a couple of grand in heartaches after putting one in. I miss the Excursion cause it was pristene, but it had sloppy suspension and not mods without putting in lots of $$$.

I like my TS chip, the stock tunes are alright but there are a number of companys that can burn custom tunes to the chip. its nice to have the ability to change tunes on the fly. As for getting good fuel mileage... I think that went out the door with the 46" tires
