the best programmer for the Duramax IMO is the PPE..
That's the main problem with Duramaxes, not everyone wants to have to drop in an aftermarket transmission so you had better keep the tuning light. PPE is a good tuner no doubt about that, but for your everyday hauler that just wants a little more kick safely without too much limping going on i'd go with the edge or something with some gauges. A friend of mine ran the Diablo for 85K miles on his 05 Dmax and just switched to edge, he said he would never go back to Diablo. The edge supposedly makes it shift better too. The guy also just went with a truflow airbox with a baffless intake tube and its supposed to be the safest way to go with less particles getting in.

He might go with the edge because hes not going to go with a CAI. That will save 350 .
