Needs Some Help, Wierd Issue

My stock 2000 CC 2wd with 239,000 miles truck is acting strange

I'm not sure if it's the EBPV, and IPR,TPS,fuel issue. What happens is like tonight the truck starts fine idle's fine, but the throttle seemed touchy, sometimes it would be no response for a split second then the motor would act like you shot some nitrous in it, and when on the highway the throttle seemed over sensative, this is all happening when the truck is not up to normal temp or real close to it. The temp was super cold, my fuel level is 1/4 also with the mileage could it be the tank filter (sock) or whatever they call the things in the tank??

I've had / have this issue too. I'm thinking sticky injectors. I've replaced alternator, EOT, batteries, fuel filter, starter, serp belt, glow plugs, gpr, gas pedal assembly

My problem is very similar where there's no acceleration then its like a boost and its moving.

My exhaust back pressure sensor was completely clogged with residue so I cleaned the sensor and tube out

I haven't had it happen in awhile

I'd say check the ebps, fuel filter, maybe oil change with rev-x or archoil ar9100

I've also had people tell me to check your fuel tank - there's supposedly a filter inside the tank

Good luck and wondering if anyone else has any thoughts

I did clean out my EBPV a few weeks back and it was pretty bad, I'm leaning towards the fuel tank pickup because I filled up today and the truck is running fine.

Try looking at the TPS which is attached to the top of the accelerator pedal. Someone did a wight up about removing it and cleaning it with contact cleaner while operating it back and forth with a flat head screwdriver. IIRC their symptoms were very similar. If it only does it when it is below normal operating temp then this probably wont help.
