Quick... Better to buy painted or primered?

Ok so I have two options here. I can either buy a white 2008 hood from craigslist or buy a capa certified one from partstrain. Both are about the same price, but which will be more expensive in the long run paint wise?

should i get the white OEM one, or just go with capa certified one?

Truck is black, so either one will have to be painted.

I would go with the white one if it is on perfect shape. All the body shop will have to do is scrub it down (rough p the paint) and shoot the new color. Plus, you are getting an OE part

But is it a pita to scrub down the underside? I dont want to open my hood and see white.

Won;t be much of an issues for a body shop. They will have to paint both sides of either hood. The aftermarket one will undergo the same 'scrub down' process as the OE one also so that part is almost a wash (depending on your body shop)
