Too cold to start what to do?

My truck is parked outside my work. My glow plugs are bad so it wont start in 20degree weather. There is no where to plug it in. Does anyone have any ideas on how I can get it started in the cold?

Check your glow plug relay. If thats good then replace your glow plugs. Try not to use either. It can swell the tips of your glow plugs and when you try and pull them out the tip could pop off leaving you with removing your head. I have used either in the past and when I replaced my glow plugs some of my tips had swollen but not enough to hurt anything.

you can use eather once to get it home but dont make a habit of it.
when you do be sure your glow plugs are done cycling and be sure you are cranking it over before it is sprayed. best to have another person spray after you are cranking.

or pull the glow plug leads off the GPR before attempting to start...effectively disabling them

you could plumb in a propane hot water heater to your cooling system and have her blowing hot air in no time but it would cost a bit of money and time.
How far is the tow? you can buy diesel heaters that do the same thing but are quite pricey. I read an article once about a guy who rigged up a camp hot water heater to his truck for about $200.
