Did it have any symptoms, or did they just do it?

Mine did not have any symptoms but they changed mine out when it was in the shop for a new water pump, thermostate, fuel sending unit, fuel pump, and fuel gauge.

You definitely should take it in for the recall. The CPS they are using is supposed to be more reliable.

Has anyone asked if you can actually just pick up the cps without them changing it out? Heck I don't care if they write it up as they did, but I can't see changing out a perfectly good cps out. Just curious I might have to ask my dealer.

ME too -- truck is up for an oil change and maybe that means the spare one will last me a lot longer!
