Torque Converter Question

Is'nt there a way that a manual switch can be installed to lock the torque converter up in my 4r100. Is this bad for the tranny?

Yes, you can put a lockup switch on it, and no its not bad as long as you don't leave it locked at too low of a speed. All you have to do is locate the plug on the passenger side of the tranny, get into the wire loom and find the purple wire with a yellow trace, and tap into it, then run that wire up into the cab and put it on a switch and then run a wire to ground so that when you flip the switch it will ground the signal to the t/c and lock.
