Overhead console failed
My overhead console / trip computer has failed. One day the readings appeared dim and the next day no LCD. Checked fuses, brightness dial.
Once I have some water drip from it. Probably a leak from the roof light above it. How do I remove the console from the ceiling? Does not appear obvious. Any other advice? ETM |

Just pull straight down... will sound like it's breaking but it's just the clips letting loose... someone had my truck before me and used some adhesive to hold the clips in place and I broke minne while taking it out...

There was a thread on this subject a while back. I believe it just snaps in place. One of the Guru's should be along shortly to help you out.

A few carefully redone solder joints and all is well again. Thanks, ETM
