2002 F250 weird starting issue
Ok guys I have a very strange issue with my truck. When its cold in the morning and I go to start it, let glow plugs go off, no lights on or anything, I turn the key as far as it goes and after about a 2-3 second delay the truck starts to turn over. If I don't start it the first time it turns over you have to wait about 5 minutes before it will do anything starting wise, truck has all power as soon as you turn the switch on. This has me pretty stumped, always starts with plenty of power though. Doesn't do this at all when warmed up though?

You may need to check your IPR valve, I had a similar problem with a 2002 f250 I had. The IPR valve wiring harness had a burnt wire where it was apparent the IPR valve short out for what ever reason. My truck would not start on a cold start but it was a hit and miss and not every day. I hope this helps you, Kenny in florida.
