Coolant Bypass Filter/Worth It?

Any one here have one of these and/or think they are worth the money?

i have seen cut outs of ones that were installed for like 3 months and their is a lot of dirt in those things..... i say its def worth it....

If you saw the crap that they trap, you would feel sick knowing that you don't have one now and that crap is swimming around inside your coolant system. There is enough casting sand in some of these engines to plug the oil cooler and heater core.

I know Lord Tauk has one, and I am installing one next week. After seeing that crap at the bottom of the tank, I figure that can't be good on the block and all. And they aren't not that exspensive and look fairly easy on the install.

I have the gold coolant in my truck. Is this stuff good for 100,000 miles like they say? I have 62k on mine. Im wondering if i should get mine flushed before i put on the bypass system?

I woud NOT run the gold in your 7.3 for 100K and please remeber the coolant additive.

Let me know if your in need of a coolant filter kit.
