switching to rotella syn a couple of ?
I have an 01 F-250 PSD right at 120k on the ticker that I bought about a month ago. I have no idea what Kind of oil is being ran in it right now But I am going to assume its dino oil.
So what if anything else should i do when i switch to rotella 5-40 synthetic? Do i need to change my filter more often for awhile? Am I going to run into an issue with leaks due to the synthetic being thinnner? for a filter I will prob run nampa gold unless you guys have better options. (not fram) What say the folks who know?

No need to do anything special for the change to synthetic. What i would reccomend is an oil analysis. to check on wear metals, and where you could be with drain intervals
