VSS, vehicle speed sensor, quit working on you. It is on the rear axle above the pinion. You need a new one. Dealer item, should be about $25.

I had it happen 6 months ago. 5 minute fix. All you need is a 10mm wrench or socket.

there is a cheap little sensor in your steering column, i had a little wreck with my truck a few years ago and and cruise control wouldn't work (the buttons on the steering for cruise wouldnt light up either) and the abs light stayed on. its bothering me that i cant think of the name of that sensor but that might be your problem...someone on here might know what im talking about

look under that dash and check fuses related to the ABS, cruise and so on. then make sure everything is connected under the dash, hood etc..

What kind of body work did they do?? If we know what they were working on we might be able to point you in the right direction to something they either left disconnected or damaged.

Do you have front ABS? If yes, Have you looked at the hub bearing to see if the plug is loose or if they did not plug it back in? or broke or something like that.

I checked the line going into the front right spindle. it was connected at the point by the inner fender but i didnt examine to see the exact spot where its connected into the actual spindle. one of my friends tried to pull the codes today but the reader couldnt get any communication with the abs module. so when its light out tommorrow im going to look as hard as i can at the module. but if anyway still has advice keep it flowin, this marine is havin a tough time judging speed.
