ebpv
Sometimes I feel like my ebpv is staying closed to long. It does not act like its sticking or anything. I can drive about 5 miles with it on. Just wondering how normal that is, I'm in Kentucky so its not all that cold. Also is that back pressure bad on the motor? I had thought about just hooking it up to a toggle switch

Your EBPV sensor or tube may be clogged. How's your fuel economy? It can suffer with EBPV problems as well. There are a number of write-ups on this available

I don't think that there is down side as long as it releases. If you tow DP tuner has a decel tune available, I have it and works very well. Some folks say it's a bad idea but I just read a rather extensive thread about it on another forum and all of the issues are accounted for in the tuning. Just my 0.02
