well see, the light wasn't on when i cranked it a min ago. but when the light is on, it runs rough all through the rpm range and especially vibratey in 4th. and when i press the gas pedal it takes it a bit to react. i do have a ts 6 pos chip in it, i'm about to take it out and see what that does to it.

Im going through the same deal. But now the light stays on all the time. Did you run it low on fuel anytime. There should be a inframe fuel pump under the driverside, try taping on it, or see if you have air in the system. The Dealership wants 200 bucks to tell me whats wrong. i seen a fuel pum on ebay for 83 dollars.. Just start at the tank and check the the filters and line..

It would help if you could pull some trouble codes with a PSD-compatible reader. If it is an injector issue (as Builttuff mentioned) it could potentially set a P1316 code (IDM/injector codes present) Since this sounds intermittent, and if a 1316 code is spit out, check undervalve cover harnesses and connectors for loose/damage/burned connections, or rubbing wires on pushrods.
