Doing some mods... did I miss anything??

So, I bought a '01 7.3 and have loved the truck so far, but.... if a little power is good... more must be better right?? lol

So, it had a 4" ATS single exhaust and Edge EZ on it when I bought it. (also has pyro and trans gauges)

My thoughts.
-Ditch the Edge EZ
-DP Chip with stock/80hp econ/60hp tow/100hp (for fun)
-Turbo Master Wastegate Controller

I figure those two things "should" be the best bang for the buck. I'm looking for towing power, not black smoke take offs.

I'd also like to do an AFE Stage 2 intake, but.... I keep hearing a/b all the surge problems which essentially forces you to upgrade the turbo housing to the ATS. So, I think I'll order the chip... like today, but not sure a/b the other parts yet.

u will be happy with DP...Tony Wildman...ETC for custom tuners...and yes..id ditch the edge....

As far as the wastegate controller...dont waste your money... Get a good map fooler or overboost controller (like ITP diesels overboost anialator) and use that....

other than that it sounds like you have a lot of potential!!!

so, you wouldn't do anything to the wastegate? I figured since this one is stock that it needed upgrading to something different.
