Ford has access to DMV records. Also, call the 1800ford line... tell them you want to make sure that their records show that you are the owner of the truck. After you give them the VIN, they can also send you a build sheet of your truck!

haha i just put a new one in my 99 F550 2 weeks ago... it was like 32 bux i aint gunna bother trying to get my money back.. ill let them put one in my F250 if i get a letter for the recall


Hey Marc can the dealer give me the part with out installing it if they want? or does ford only pay if the delaer installs it..

they can replace it if it has the old part....or not replace it if it has the new part... thats it...(if you know someone at a dealer you may be able to work out something better though.....)

well i dont care about the one i just put in the 550 its a write off anyway its a work truck...


I just dont want the assclowns at the dealership working or driving my F250... (not that all dealer techs are assclowns but the one at the local ford dealer we have is one, and they only have one diesel tech)

I think ill see if they will just gimme one over the counter and ill install it myself...I see the way they drive customers cars/trucks... Im the only one who can beat on my truck...
