and thats exactly what i'm going to do now. i am definitely seeing if i can get this done under warranty, and then sell it. on saturday i will use my buddies flatbed to tow it up there. i put in the k&n air intake on my 93 z 28 camaro i had years ago, and it was still under factory warranty for 3k more miles when i bought it used. it had a problem with an injector so i brought it into the dealership, and they overlooked the aftermarket intake, and replaced all of the injectors under the warranty.

You said that you had the K&N intake kit.. is it a whole kit or just the drop in filter? If it's just the filter, just put in a replacement. If you replaced the whole housing.. put the stock one back on.

the whole kit! if worse comes to worse i could just take it around to a bunch of dealerships on the flatbed, and see how many tries it takes me. if that doesn't work i guess i would have to order a stock one from ford. i mean it shouldn't be too much.
