Miss this?

Dude I felt the same way before i ran my 97 with a slipping clutch and nothing went wrong. It's like pulling onto the highway and stepping on it except shorter.

Just relax. You are going to take the truck up to freeway speed and of course the T/C will be locked. So there is no worry about the trans slipping. You will not hurt anything with your mods. Just a chip and supporting mods will not do any damage. I would expect somewhere around 310+/- hp at the ground in your highest tune. Plus you will not spend enough time at WOT to do any damage due to EGT's. If you hit up to 1400+* for 15 seconds or so you will not hurt anything. Just don't hold it there for more than about 30 seconds.

Keep Strokin'
