Help a 6.0 brother out

Well I just picked up a 2001 f350 DRW 6 speed. She's got 148000 miles and in very good shape. What do I need to do? I want a good custom tune safe for pulling a 13000 pound horse trailer. What oil do I use and how often? Any other tips would be great? Also what exhaust should I go with.

Thanks guys. Looking forward to spending time in this forum now.

My best advice is to search around in here. There's more than enough information floating around.

My other piece of advice is if its a Crew Cab, sell it to me

We can get you going with some tunes and exhaust. Browse around our website and check out all of the products we carry(Diesel tuning products for Ford PowerStroke)

HERE is a link for all of the 7.3L stuff we have available.

A good starting point would be intake, exhaust, gauges, and tunes. That will definitely wake the truck up and you can always build up from there if you ever want to.

E-mail or PM me if you would like anymore information.

What kind of surveying do you do? Out of curiosity.

I always get confused for you guys - I survey oil wells, downhole. So when I say I am a surveyor when people ask they imagine a tripod, orange vest and sticks.

Good **** though man!
