Help a 6.0 brother out

Well I just picked up a 2001 f350 DRW 6 speed. She's got 148000 miles and in very good shape. What do I need to do? I want a good custom tune safe for pulling a 13000 pound horse trailer. What oil do I use and how often? Any other tips would be great? Also what exhaust should I go with.

Also, do you guys know if my Edge Insight CS from my 07 will work with this truck?

A good starting point would be intake, exhaust, gauges, and tunes. That will definitely wake the truck up and you can always build up from there if you ever want to.

I always get confused for you guys - I survey oil wells, downhole. So when I say I am a surveyor when people ask they imagine a tripod, orange vest and sticks.
