astro start say that theirs would work on a manual transmission. They just install two sensors on for the e-brake and one for the neutral switch. Also most places will not install it if the e-brake does not work.

if your installing it your self any remote start with a delayed start for the glow plugs will work. I believe the high end remote starts will have the safety
sensors for the e-brake and the tranny. Just be careful if you get one with out them. I had one on a manual car i owned and the car drove across a parking lot over the median and stalled in the middle of the street because i for got it in gear with out the e-brake and hit the remote start. My friends still wont let me live that one down. |

I got mine on eBay for like $30-$40, it works pretty good but sometimes the remotes stop working and I have to reset them, also the parking light relay didn’t last long. It works from almost 1,000 feet and has a programmable timer for the glow plugs. Be very careful with a manual shift install and make sure you hook it to the neutral switch. I have started mine accidentally more than once. One morning I was getting dressed in my bathroom and heard it start up in the garage. My pocket knife must have hit the button n the remote while I was putting my pants on. They are a bit of a pain to install and program even for an electrician.
