how much sould i sell my truck for

how much should i sell it for
ok i have a 2000 ccsb lariat 4x4
i only have 5,000 miles on a brand new engine and when i mean brand new like had 15miles on it
the truck is in ok shape few scrapes and dents nothing major
the inside is almost perfect
i have had all the work done professionally at a very good diesel shop in AZ also has 4'' MBRP TURBO BACK, AIRAID INTAKE, GAUGE POD, INTERNATIONAL UP PIPES,TRANSMISSION COOLER KIT,ADRENALINE HPO
have all the paper work to prove all of it

the reason i am thinking of selling it is i really want a 6.4. that body style is my favorite. i have a few buddies that have them and just love them trucks especially in white

i am just worried about all the egr **** and all that good stuff i am just wondering if it is worth it or just keep my truck

6.4 is a good truck, you just have to remember when stuff breaks on them it is EXPENSIVE. I'm looking at a 6.4 for the future wife right now. How many total miles are on your truck, most people won't pay a higher price because of the new motor and mods aren't worth much on resale.

well i was on CL today and a few were going for 18 with close to the same miles as me

the previous owner neglected the hell out of the engine and i was unaware of that fact when i got the truck...but i was pulling a camper up a good grade and the engine let go.

the shop i took it to said it was the worst 7.3 they have ever seen
i hate to admit it but the guy i got it from got over on me and i payed for it

You asked and I told you my opinion. I don't see why someone would pay 18k for a 12 year old truck when for 18k you can get an 05-06. I had the chance to buy an 03 7.3 with 22k original miles for 18k, people ask way to much because they think the 7.3 is the only reliable diesel ever. You just have to remember it's still a 12+ year old truck. I paid 12k for mine with 180k a year ago.

yea i was like wtf 18,000 but some people will buy things like that
the problem is i am 24,000 into this truck and i know i wont get even close to that for it but i am just looking at my options
