Does this sound like a good buy?

I am looking to buy this truck and this is the description the guy gave me when i asked him about the truck.

" I'm asking 11 for the truck . It doesent have any major mechanical problems . I just had a steering box put in and new hoses and a new tie rod put in around Christmas time . New brakes all around new transition fluid and it has an awesome stereo system ! If you wanna take a look let me know Nd I can have my dad open the truck up so you can look at it ! Oh and I have a lift kit that will come with the truck but it does new a little tlc some time every weekend will really tie this truck together "

Year is 1999 and 185xxx miles.

Just wanted yall's opinion on it

That was hard to interpret towards the end. Curious if its an early/late 99.

"some issues that i began to tackel like typical rust on the cab corners the drivers side is finished and sanded smooth and painted the passengers side needs to be sanded and painted no biggie but the seasons changed on me too quick to get to it. the only mechanical issue would be the carrier barring is warn and could be replaced... less than 100 bucks. just little things here and there. the motor is solid and i have had no issues with the turbo or injectors or turbo the turbo can boost 35psi and still spools like a champ"

this is the second time he responded to me

i am not sure if it is early/late 99

and pipewrench i like the horns

Re: Does this sound like a good buy?

If its hittin 35 psi its got some kinda tunes which IS NOT MENTIONED. That is some info you need. If the truck is seeing 35 psi is he running it hard? I have NEVER seen over 28-ish psi in my red trk with DP Tuner on 120 race setting.

Not a deal breaker just need more info to feel good about it. I prefer to buy stock trks w/o tunes and mod myself. In stock form these trks are goverened back to the point they cant hurt themselves. Tunes changes all that. 35 psi is double what they make stock.
