Garrett Turbo

Is Garrett Turbo one of the best I have a 2002 Ford F250 and the turbo quit working for a while and then started working again. Any Suggestions.

Also I have a violent shake at the speed of 55 MPH. My truck will be going along and just cut off and cut back on giving me a violent shake in the vehicle.

Any Suggestions

I am currently not looking to replace I was headed down the road last week and the turbo quit working I slowed down to a crawl and it just kicked in I looked under the hood and saw it was a Garret Turbo. Little research I have done suggested that these are good turbos. I have not had the truck but about 6 months I bought it because I always wanted to own a diesel so I bit the bullet and purchased the Ford F-250 4x4 7.3 L diesel. Ford place currently has it and they are gettting no codes on it.

the Garret turbos are stock on those years.... i dont think it would be a turbo issue.... that happened to me once and it was the CPS (crank position sensor)

the CPS was my first thought, might also be the HPOP low on oil.

if you see a light at the end of the tunnel, it's probably just a photon torpedo
