My truck loves Rotella T6 Synthetic 5w-40

Hey guys just wanna put this out if your having cold start troubles and have already checked your glow plug system I highly recommend trying the synthetic T6 from Rotella. I was having problems with hard starting the romps and a rough idle on start up when temps got below 10. Well i changed from the Delo 400 Dino 15w 40 today to the T6 synthetic and i have to say its like a bought a brand new truck. After letting her sit in about 5-10 degree temps (which would normally result in a hard start and crappy idle till warm) she fired like a dream took only 1 or 2 spins and she lit off right to a nice smooth and much quieter idle i was amazed. I'm gonna leave her unplugged(which i normally wouldn't even think of doing) tonight in the 0 degree temps and report back on how she starts in the morning.

I have been switching back and forth for 10 years and 300,000 miles now. No harm done that I can tell.

I switched to T6 today. I had a rough idle on the 2-3 mornings when temps got below 30 degrees. Not cold enough today to see if this helped it out, but does idle a little quieter and seems to run smother.

I run the T6 all year long. this week was the first time I've plugged my truck in this winter (finally replaced the plug that was not working) and my truck has been starting in the 0 degree and -15 windchill we've been having here lately. It wasn't happy about it, but always started! Now when I plug it in, it's warmed up in 3 minutes!

Reporting back after the cold start this morning at 3 degrees and I have to say best mod I have done to my truck was this oil what a difference! She fired right up and idled as if it was 85 degrees out. Wont ever worry about my truck starting in the cold again.
