on my ex, there is a clip on the front of the keypad body inside the door. you slide the clip off then pull the front out and then slightly forward to unhook the rear of the pad, then it all comes out through the hole.

I always wondered how they were put on....they are in different locations on different trucks....I'd really like to add one to my passenger door...hate walkin all the way around to find out the door is locked then have to go back and unlock it...be nice to just have a pad there to use
