Cold Start
Ok, So It was under 25 for 3 days and I left my rig plugged in I thought well come to find out the gfci had "popped" so i reset and its fine left it plugged in for a about8 hrs fire it upand it has a cold knock I drove it drovefine just the knock I let it warm for about 20 min any idea's

I run fuel additives in the winter with every tank. Not saying the fuel is causing the knock. But like Dave asked did the knock go away when the truck warmed up.

it does go away. after i let it idle for a bit. I run additive but i was wondering if i should change oil weights or something. the outlet works it just popped nothing major it work snow!

Going to a 5w40 diesel rated synthetic will help that out alot. How long are you plugging it in for Trey

does your gfi reset? it may be tripped at your breaker panel. those things are very sensitive. i changed my gfi out to a regular plug cause it does the same thing on my camper when i plug it in.
