ran out of fuel and now wont stay running. yea, I feel like an idiot, but I'm assuming there is a process to bleed the air out of the lines before it will run correctly and wondered if anybody could help. Thanks

Best thing to do is make sure the tank is at ¼ or more and turn the key on, listen for the electric fuel pump and when it shuts off cycle the key again, do that several times before trying to start it. If you cranked on it a lot it may need some engine oil poured into the HPOP reservoir through the plug in the top.

Oil is not needed in the HPOP reservoir unless you took off a line from the HPOP to the heads or pulled an injector.

Turn the fuel pump on for 3-4 cycles. The fuel pump will run for 20seconds after you turn the key on and then it shuts off. If you ran it out of fuel and it won't run right change the fuel filter. It probably sucked junk into the lines and the filter needs replaced. If that does not work then the line from the tank to the pump has gotten plugged with junk off the bottom of the tank. And of course, make sure there is plenty of fuel in the tank.
