leveling kit with 35s now, want to go bigger
Right now my 02 extended cab short bed has a leveling kit (mini leaf spring pack) with the factory block in the rear sitting on 35x12.5x18 tires, I have no rubbing issues now with the tires. I want to put 37s on my truck and I was thinking about putting an add a leaf in the front, and a 5 inch block in the rear to give me approximately 4-4.5" of lift total. I understand that I will have to buy different shocks for the lift, however I am not too sure about putting an add a leaf in the front since I already have a mini leaf spring pack up there. Ive searched this topic numerous times and I believe I will be able to clear the 37s. Thoughts or opinions on this?

you could run an add a leaf, plus longer shackles.. would net you about 3-4 inches plus your mini pack, so roughly 5-6 inches of lift.. but you would need a track bar drop bracket, drop pitman arm, extended brake lines, and i'm sure i'm missing a few things.. it may be cheaper or about the same cost to just buy a 4-6 inch lift and sell your mini pack to offset a few bucks of cost..
