ZF-6 7.3 vs 6.0

Friend of mine and myself are looking for a donor truck for some projects... I want a crew cab to cut up and add an extened cab to, he wants a 6sp to swap into his dually... but what I don't know is if the ZF-6 behind the 6.0 is the same as the one behind the 7.3. Is the bell housing diffrent? Clutch? Any info you can share would be great...

Would be nice to find one truck that will provide parts for both of our projects...

6.0 and 7.3 are different bolt patterns won't work.

Guess that means we need a 7.3 crew cab donor truck...
