is there any way to determine hours on a powerstroke? i know most heavy duty diesels have an hour meter, but i don't remember ever seeing one a pickup.

not from the factory. they could be added easiely though. some times engine hours and mileage are not in sync. for example the jeep factory had a 78 power wagon truck they used inside the plant that had about 2000 miles on it when it was 10 years old, and was pretty rough. i would try to find the maint. records on the truck your looking at to see whats been done.

Yeah my truck is a good ole company truck. Actually the pic I have in my avatar is from the day I painted it with some parts removed. It was a truck from my dad's company, and when they get done with their trucks they have a silent auction that only employees can participate. I have been happy with it.
